Abraham Lincoln, one of America’s most iconic presidents. I wouldn’t say that I’m a history buff or a Abraham Lincoln fan but his iconic image I have always found inspiring. Lincoln portraits’ are some of the most famous and well known photographs of modern history. Lincoln’s portraits are visually stunning, this is why I decided that I had to paint my own interpretation of Abe Lincoln. I believe my contemporary portrait of Abraham Lincoln gives a new fresh approach to his image, bringing him into the 21st century.
I’m not easily ipmressed. . . but that’s impressing me!
